TUKI … 14th Nairobi International Book Fair

with 2 comments

It was busy …

So TUKI (Institute of Kiswahili Studies – University of Dar es Salaam) was the only Tanzanian publisher that show cased their publications at this year’s Nairobi Book Fair! Which direction is our Tanzanian book publishing industry heading? A really big question … a very big one.

Fahamu were there …

Multi-national Oxford … was there to show its muscles …

Mvule … an emerging indigenous publishing house … keeping up with the pace …

The ‘baobab tree’ … important piece of art placed at the Sarit Centre in Nairobi, venue for this year’s Nairobi International Book Fair.
