Maize flour … the fight goes on

with 2 comments

Unga is Swahili for flour. However, most of the time it is used to refer to maize flour. It is an important stapple food in several East African countries. In recent months, the price of maize has been going up and up and up. This has caused many residents of the region to complain a lot. So, above is a display of the anger whereby the call is to reduce the price of maize flour from the range of Kshs 60 to 70 down to Kshs 30 (about US $0.30) a kilo.
