Crushing my house is … my right

with 4 comments

Evictees? That could be the case … from the placards they carry. I came across the procession on Kenyatta Avenue, Nairobi. The message on their T-shirts read: “Crushing my house is crushing my human rights”. People use different ways to express their grievances. This is one. Some ways are peaceful while others are violent. When people decide to take to the streets, it only means one thing – communication breakdown. Wisdom and self-resraint are then the only tools to prevent people from turning violent. Honest talks/discussions remain the only way to solve matters – to bring about a healing – to grant justice. It is never possible to tell from the face value whether the party that cliaims to be the agrieved is ‘really the agrieved’ or it’s the other party we don’t see. Coming back to this group, I call upon them to continue using peaceful means to seek for their justice. The other party that we don’t see here should agree to hold honest talks with this party and end the matter once and for all. Remember: Honest talk for justice, prosperity, peace and unity.

  1. Hii kitu kwenye nchi zinazoendelea nafikiri itakuwa tatizo mpaka miji yetu ifikie standard fulani ambazo kimiji zinakubaliaka. Ila nafikiri tatizo liko kweye jinsi shughuli nzima ya bomoabomoa inavyoendeshwa.

  3. ‘fulu kudanganya’ … hicho ndicho hasa huanzisha vurumai na hekaheka … na si huku Afrika tu bali hata Ulaya … tuliyaona juzi kule London … Watu tumechoka kudanganyika … hapo hata nguvu ya risasi si kitu … VIONGOZI wabadilike …
