Voters’ right to vote … lost
The National Electoral Commission extended voters’ registration by a day in Dar. This was a very welcome move. However, by closing time … there were still many more who were yet to get registered even though they went to the registration stations. How do we explain such a scenerio? How does NEC justfy its act of not having these people registered?

Multi-party democracy in the country is still in a deep sleep. Who is going to benefit if indeed a good number of people qualifying to get into the Voters’ Parmanent Register do not appear in there? This is a sorry situation.
