Immediately after my reflections on the state of the TAZARA railway line, I found this wonderful information from Issa Michuzi’s blog, http://www.issamichuzi.blogspot.com/. Namibia celebrates her 20th anniversary of independence today. In celebrating the event, the people of Namibia recognized the works and undertakings of two of the most brave and patriotic sons of Africa: Julius K. Nyerere and Kenneth Kaunda. Here are the images. TAZARA was constructed while these two leaders were in office, the two path finders. Even though J.K. Nyerere died over a decade ago, he still lives in the hearts of millions of Africans and in the works of his hands that he established.
